Ally + Drew's Coastal-Inspired Texas Wedding at The French Farmhouse

Ally and Drew’s wedding at The French Farmhouse was a unique blend of coastal inspiration and Southern wedding elements in a palette of bright, playful pastels and charming design elements like patterned linens, rattan chairs and baskets as accents and colored flatware and candles. This was named the 2025 Wed Society North Texas wedding of the year!

The ceremony site had a wooden door backdrop at the altar, which was accented with a disconnected floral arch on either side, with each color grouped together in clusters. Leading up to the altar, all-Hydrangea arrangements lined the aisle, and single-stem arrangements in baskets marked the start of the aisle with fun pops of color.

For the transition to the reception, the seating chart had planter boxes mounted on it that held vibrant multi-colored arrangements with purple, orange, green and pink blooms. Lights with rattan shades hung from a wooden overhead trellis made this extra whimsical and summery!

The reception was designed with lots of layers and dimension, including basket floral arrangements, colored taper candles in wooden holders, fruit styled down the tabletops, rattan votive holders, orange marbled candle holders and blue bud vases, all on top of neutral patterned linens. The cake was also styled with flowers around its base, and Hydrangea lined the mantle behind it. The stage facade also got a floral accent with color blocked basket arrangements.

Ally’s bouquet was all white, and her bridesmaids each had a single-color bouquet in a shade of green, pink or orange. They all wore blue gowns in different colors and materials, continuing the focus on textures!
