Abby + Josh's Timeless Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Abby and Josh’s vision for a modern black-and-white wedding with greenery and black accents couldn’t have been a more perfect match with their venue - Knotting Hill Place. We worked with Rachel Willis Events on a classic-style ceremony and reception with selective modern touches and more dramatic moments throughout the spaces!

We designed a collection of tall arrangements on acrylic stands at varying heights, paired with ground arrangements and candles at the bases for a lush backdrop at the altar in the indoor ceremony space. To make the aisle pop, we added more ground arrangements - all the white blooms and greenery looked bright, fresh and elegant, especially with the venue’s natural light.

At the reception, we added some drama to the head table with four tall arrangements on black stands to line its center, with candles and small arrangements below. Guests were seated at both rectangular and round tables, so we designed a mix of all-candle runners and collections of compote arrangements and candles. The arrangements were all-white for a pop along with all the black decor touches. The band facade was another opportunity for a statement floral moment - dense, lush ground arrangements lined the front. 

The bouquets were all white, featuring Roses, Tulips and Baby’s Breath for a mix of textures that felt romantic and dainty. Instead of black, the bridesmaids wore taupe stain gowns, which were the perfect timeless choice for this early-Fall wedding.
