Lexi + Jackson's Elegant Garden-Inspired Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Lexi and Jackson’s wedding took on an organic garden-style elegance, perfectly complemented by the drama and glamor of a venue like Knotting Hill Place. Floral elements in the ceremony and reception centered on romantic flowers in a soft palette of neutrals with touches of pink tones and lush greenery as a staple.

The indoor ceremony opened with ground arrangements lining the aisle and leading into an oversized floral arch at the altar — a continuation of the garden-style mix of Delphinium and lush greenery. This combination made for an elegant statement in KHP’s ceremony space — the tall arch mimicking the tall rounded windows.

The reception ballroom was filled with a mix of round and rectangular guest tables, topped with either centerpiece arrangements in white vases or greenery vines trailing down with taper candles. The head table featured a mix of both, and all the tables had delicate gold details in the place settings for an elegant touch. More flowers in ground arrangements embellished the escort display.

Lexi and her bridesmaids’ bouquets took on a manicured garden style, made up of blooms like Orchids, Roses, Sweet Pea and Ranunculus. Unlike the ceremony and reception flowers, the bouquets were all-white and contrasted with the wedding party’s black gowns and suits.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Phalaenopsis Orchids, Playa Blanca Roses, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Larkspur, Sweet Pea

Becca + Grant's Luxury Texas Destination Wedding

The main event of their destination wedding weekend in West Texas, Becca and Grant’s big day was held on family property — an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. The wedding featured some of the same tones from the rehearsal dinner for a mix of bright and punchy reds in the flowers and soft blues brought in with other decor throughout the reception. We worked with Shannon Rose Events to curate this natural-feeling and elegant ceremony and reception that were truly unique.

We designed a statement floral backdrop at the altar for the ceremony — as opposed to adding onto an arch or arbor, this was all flowers — a semicircle of arrangements at various heights for lots of drama and volume while complimenting the natural landscape. The same style was mimicked at the start of the aisle, where we added collections of arrangement in white pots on either the ground or rectangular pedestals.

The tented reception opened with two floral statements — an archway framing the entrance and a large urn arrangement in the center of the custom bar. Both of these were ultra-textural and bold, featuring red and brown foliage and lots of red, mauve and taupe blooms. Accents like wooden lanterns on either side of the entry archway added more interest and texture

The head table was the site of another oversized installation — a large centerpiece garland stretched across, brimming with textures, flowers, colored foliage and greenery. Pillar and votive candles, wooden chargers and blue linens made all the tabletops elegant and eclectic — other guest tables help arrangements in white vases or floral clusters growing up in the center of the tables.

Becca’s bouquet was organic-feeling and mixed all the tones and textures present in the ceremony and reception designs, featuring the bold red, mauve and brown shades with a pop of ivory. Velvet bridesmaid gowns added to the red statement and texture.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Kiera Garden Roses, Heart Roses, Cappuccino Roses, Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, red Ranunculus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Frill Brownie Tulips, red Nerine, red Foliage

Moody & Sophisticated West Texas Rehearsal Dinner

Our couple Becca and Grant held their rehearsal dinner at a historic hotel in downtown Big Spring, and wanted flowers to accentuate that West Texas feel we’ve come to know so well. We designed a few statement floral moments throughout the space and arrangements for tables in a palette of red, navy, and brown-mauve with dark greenery for a moodier take on their wedding day colors.

The entrance is always an appropriate place for a statement — we designed a large urn arrangement full of antique hydrangea, red roses, brown fall foliage and red and mauve blooms. Surrounded by red candles, this set the tone for an intimate welcome dinner for guests to kick off the wedding weekend.

We filled the tables with lush organic-style arrangements in low compotes that drew on the red and mauve tones. Navy blue textured linens and gold chargers, flatware and foiling on the menus rounded out this layered color palette for sophisticated and elegant tabletops.

A couple other touches helped bring this rehearsal dinner together — live music and an embroidery designer who stitched guests’ names onto bandanas — both special elements that gave an extra nod to the Texas destination wedding!

Janie + Jake's Texas Canyon Wedding

Texan, rodeo-inspired, classic and refined — a combination we love to bring to life, especially in collaboration with Shannon Rose Events. Janie and Jake’s wedding day was the perfect representation of their careers (which brought them together) as a Bronc rider and reporter for the Cowboy Channel, with endless canyon-inspired hues of burgundy, taupe and mustard, and no shortage of thoughtful personal touches.

The setting for the outdoor ceremony—the Palo Duro Canyon—was picturesque all on its own, but we designed ground arrangements full of the canyon’s warm tones, which lined the aisle and formed a semi-circle up at the altar. Janie arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage — a perfectly fitting entrance.

After the ceremony, a cocktail hour was held in a teepee tent setup with a circular bar centerpiece that we surrounded with floral arrangements, and a horseshoe installation to frame the seating chart made another statement. Both pieces leaned into the same red and rust tones with touches of softer mauve and pink flowers, along with plenty of lush greenery that helped accentuate the horseshoe shape.

A clear tent, decked out with plenty of decor from neon signs to rustic chandeliers, made for the perfect reception space that still allowed everyone to experience the canyon setting. We designed several statements — an oversized floral arch framed the entrance, with longhorn horns (a touch from the bride’s family) hung in the center, and a large branch-and-flower arrangement at the welcome lounge area.

The tables continued the rusty color palette, with an extra-lush garland designed for the head table that trailed down to the ground. Other tables held arrangements in terracotta bowls, or floral and candle clusters. We were able to play off of elements of the natural surroundings, which made the space feel even more immersive while still elevated.

A couple other floral touches included accents for the cake and a collar for Janie’s horse. Her bridal bouquet featured all of the best of the flowers and texture seen throughout the event, in burgundy, mauve and touches of yellow.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Kiera Garden Roses, Barista Roses, Shimmer Roses, Cappuccino Roses, Golden Mustard Roses,  Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, Roseanne Lisianthus, Black Scabiosa, Brownie Tulips, Brownie Sweet Pea, Cotinus

Karl + Jordain's Textural Autumnal Wedding

A natural and textural take on an Autumn color palette, Karl and Jordain’s November wedding was held on family property here in Texas. The whole event took place outside — the reception beneath a tent with the space fully transformed with chandeliers, a dance floor and flowers. We worked with Shannon to curate the perfect design and details for this Fall tent wedding and love how it turned out!

We used a mix of arrangements on the ground and in large terracotta pots at different heights to anchor the ceremony space at the altar and down the aisle. The altar arrangements were designed to look color-blocked all together in quintessential red, brown and yellow autumnal shades. These created a layered backdrop that was also so fitting for the natural setting, and wooden benches for seating were the perfect simple and complementary element to the flowers.

For the reception, we designed an installation of green and red foliage using the poles supporting the tent. These were a great natural contrast to the chandeliers. The guest tables held arrangements in terracotta bowls or mixes of bud vases and candles. More touches of color were brought in through details like candle holders and linens — neutral tablecloths and wooden chairs kept the overall space otherwise neutral and natural-feeling.

A floral installation growing up around the cake table and ground arrangements on either side of the bar were a couple other statements in the reception that made the space feel both more upscale and immersive.

The bouquets featured the same palette of browns and golds but were brightened up with bright white blooms like Dahlias. The bridesmaids’ neutral taupe dresses were so stunning and definitely balanced out this neutral-autumnal aesthetic.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Dahlia, Snowy Jewel Roses, Patience Garden Roses, Toffee Roses, Roseanne Lisianthus, Abelia Foliage, Autumn Eucalyptus, Chocolate Cosmos
