Tsen + Adam's Romantic Springtime Wedding

We worked with Silent Tea Studio to design and bring to life a simple, elegant Springtime wedding for Tsen and Adam at The Hillside Estate with a few statement pieces and other more subdued floral elements. This palette of soft pinks and neutrals was so fitting for the venue and made for such a quintessential Springtime feel!

The bride and groom held a traditional tea ceremony at the venue on their wedding day before all of their guests arrived — a tradition in which the newlyweds serve tea to each others’ relatives as a representation of the families’ union.

For the outdoor wedding ceremony, we designed a two-piece floral installation that grew up from the ground with full, lush bases and tapered-off tops to frame the couple at the altar. This was so fitting with the vegetation on the venue grounds but added the pop of brightness and color with white and pink flowers. A rose petal send-off outside after the ceremony was a fun touch that made for such sweet photos.

In the ballroom where the reception took place, we decorated the guest tables with collections of bud vases — grouped by like flowers at each table. These were simple and understated but looked so elegant paired with votive candles. Some other simple yet impactful floral moments were a greenery-lined staircase at the entrance and an asymmetrical arrangement on the mantle of the outdoor fireplace for cocktail hour. 

We designed subtle yet lush and voluminous bouquets for Tsen and her bridesmaids, with majority ivory and white blooms and touches of taupe for a romantic and feminine look to pair with the blush gowns. These featured Garden Roses and Sweet Pea for fullness and a classic style.

Charlene + Sam's Blue-Accented Ceremony at the Forth Worth Botanic Garden

Whether a wedding at a sprawling venue with hundreds of guests or an intimate ceremony and reception with just your closest friends and family, flowers are an essential element in adding some romance and personality. Charlene and Sam held a small ceremony at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and an intimate reception afterward for their perfect low-key yet elegant and classy wedding.

Charlene leaned into using blue tones as pops of color — something we hear lots of brides asking for that can be done in so many unique ways. She also expressed a preference for classic look, so we paired the hints of blue with romantic blooms like Sweet Pea and Ranunculus, and touches of baby’s breath and eucalyptus greenery. Charlene had two bridesmaids by her side, who both wore blue and carried similar bouquets as the perfect complement.

This couple and their guests transitioned from the ceremony at the Botanic Gardens to Fort Worth’s Reata Restaurant to celebrate with great food! Having switched gears after an original 2020 wedding date, this small-scale celebration ended up being the perfect plan for Charlene and Sam, and we loved putting together the flowers as a crucial embellishing touch!

Jackie + Luke's Modern Napa-Valley-Inspired Wedding

Our couple Jackie and Luke’s wedding at the Olana took on a stunning palette of neutrals and warm plum and mauve tones that we carried out with flowers in the form of lush ground arrangements for the ceremony, garlands and other statement pieces in the reception space and details like cake flowers and coordinating candles. This venue was the perfect backdrop for this modern-Napa-Valley-inspired wedding brought to life with the help of Gathered Events and captured beautifully by Megan Kay Photo.

Ground arrangements circling the altar were the floral focal point of the ceremony and sat in front of a mirrored wall. Taupe pillar candles were placed throughout to add to the romantic-garden vibe and to tie in with the pink and taupe tones in the flowers. These arrangements were lush with greenery and statement ivory blooms with just a few pops of color.

For the reception, we decked out the tables and added more flowers surrounding the DJ booth and to accent the dance floor. For the head table, we designed a garden-style garland full of dark greenery and blooms tucked here and there for an organic yet upscale look. Taupe taper candles in black holders were another modern touch that complimented the mauve and neutral tones.

Other guest tables at the reception had a mix of candles and bud vases for an effortless design with a few impactful details that made this elegant and true to the upscale-modern style and Napa Valley inspiration. The black-and-white checkered dance floor, dark linens and urns brought together this black-and-mauve color scheme and added such a classy feel.

We designed simple and elegant long-stem bouquets full of big blooms for the bridal party that looked so effortless with the bridesmaids’ simple high-neck mauve gowns. With no shortage of carefully curated details, the vision for Jackie and Luke’s day came together so flawlessly for such a stunning Springtime wedding.

Catherine + Carson's Simple, Classic Wedding at D'Vine Grace Vineyard

Catherine and Carson’s Springtime wedding at the stunning D’Vine Grace Vineyard had such a grand, elegant feel with pretty minimal strategic floral elements from a large circle-arch installation for the ceremony and table table arrangements and balcony installation at the reception. All-ivory blooms and greenery made such a bold yet simple statement in this venue full of light-and-dark contrast.

The altar installation was large-scale to truly frame the couple and held two lush asymmetrical floral pieces full of greenery and ivory blooms, balanced by the simple gold circular arch. Two ballroom-style arrangements sat on clear pedestals and vases at the start of the aisle as another statement moment.

The reception space has such a bright and open feel with a second-story balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows and white walls, and we took advantage of that openness and height with a greenery installation hanging from the second floor above the sweetheart table and tall arrangements on round guest tables. Long, rectangular tables flanked the sides of the room and were decorated with bud vases and candles for an elegant, intimate vibe. Some tables were covered with beautiful blue linens for a pop of color — so perfect with both the greenery and ivory flowers and all of the gold accents.

Catherine and her bridal party carried long-stemmed bouquets of traditional blooms like Hydrangea and Rose varieties with touches of black for the bridal bouquet by adding in some Panda Anemones. With the same pop of blue in the bridesmaid dresses, this was such a classy Springtime look!

The details of this wedding — brought together with the help of Gathered Events — were so crucial to giving this ceremony and reception such an elevated, romantic feel, even though it was kept fairly simple.

Sarah + Parker's Blue Bloom and Greenery-Filled Wedding

Springtime weddings can take on any variety of color palettes — from shades of purple to bright pink to soft blues — and all of the details can help accentuate the light, airy vibe you might be going for. Sarah and Parker’s wedding at The Hillside Estate came in shades of blue along with an abundance of lush greenery and delicate touches.

To make a statement in the ceremony space, we designed an organic-style disconnected arch with an extra-full base of greenery and blooms that taper off as it grows upward. This looked so stunning in front of the wall of windows and brought in so much vibrance with the rich-colored greenery. Sparing blooms — mostly in white and ivory shades — accented the statement piece for a soft, Springtime feel.

In the ballroom for the reception, we added tall arrangements, full of flowing greenery and both white and blue flowers, to four round guest tables. The rest featured a mix of bud vases, blue taper candles (a great way to tie in extra color!) and threads of greenery laced throughout, all on top of white lace runners.

Some other staples in the reception were the lush ground arrangements lining the front of the sweetheart table and the stunning cake by Butterfly Cakery dotted with delicate blue flowers from top to bottom.

The bridal party bouquets were the perfect mix of Spring textures in the form of blooms of all kinds — with Panda Anemones for a bold touch that still fit right in with the white and ivory tones and delicate flowers. Sarah’s bridesmaids, in soft powder-blue gowns, looked so elegant carrying these lush, bright white and deep green bouquets.
