Michelle + Nick's Romantic Outdoor Wedding at Jonsson Gardens

A Springtime wedding at the Dallas Arboretum that ends up with flawless weather for an outdoor ceremony is nothing short of picturesque — we loved coordinating and designing flowers for Michelle and Nick’s wedding, and were so excited to take advantage of this beautiful venue when the flowers were in full bloom.

We designed two large, lush arrangements, elevated on either side of the altar on white pedestals and gold urns. Hydrangeas and big Roses — creating the perfect soft pink and ivory combination — were the main event of these arrangements, with touches of the bride’s favorite flower: Tulips. This made the Arboretum the perfect fit, giving the couple the perfect backdrop of colorful Tulip gardens. 

This ceremony was the epitome of elegance, given the lush garden setting, romantic personal flowers and statement arrangements, and a live string quartet. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, both for the ceremony itself and for Michelle and Nick’s portrait photos. 

Tulips were a must for Michelle’s bridal bouquet as well, so we went for a tailored and textural design that featured white Frilly Tulips and pink Double Tulips, which gave this elegant bouquet a hint of playfulness. It featured lots of other blooms in shades of pink and ivory, with other Tulip varieties to honor the bride’s favorite. Her bridesmaids wore blush gowns and carried equally soft and romantic bouquets. Touches of greenery in all of the party’s bouquets added to the tailored yet organic feel.

Vibrant Autumnal Palette and Textures: Winter Open House at The Hillside Estate

A venue like The Hillside Estate has so much versatility with all-white spaces that have visual interest in the architecture and statement chandeliers, but otherwise leave endless room for possibility. We loved working with Gathered Events on this Winter open house that staged a striking, elegant, fall-inspired reception with a gorgeous combination of earth tones for brides-to-be to mingle with DFW vendors and imagine their wedding in The Hillside Estate’s gorgeous spaces.

Bold green table linens made a great visual impact, especially when paired with shades of brown and amber — we designed a floral-and-greenery garland for the center long table, and small compote arrangements for the others. The flowers combined moody tones with bright white blooms here and there, and were accented with other touches like gold flatware, napkin rings and chargers with leaf detailing. A handful of the round tables had layered gold, leaf-applique linens that made a great statement and had simple candle centerpieces.

All of the flowers were bold in color and texture while still taking on an organic style. Lush, larger arrangements flanked the stage — at either side on pedestals and on the ground in front. All around, this setup was a vision of a unique and striking color palette that, with strategic accessorizing, was both playful and elegant.

Tyler + Brian's Elegant Garden Wedding at Dallas Arboretum

Tyler and Brian’s wedding at the Degolyer Gardens of the Dallas Arboretum was perfectly fit for the venue, with organic floral design decorating both the ceremony and reception that took place outdoors. Muted pink tones and sage anchored the color palette for this Springtime wedding. A mix of rustic touches and gold details made for a clean, more modern take on the organic, garden feel.

The ceremony was held in this beautiful lush garden, with a fountain and stone archways anchoring the space. We designed two altar arrangements on white pedestals and urns, full of ivory and taupe with touches of rose-colored blooms. White guest chairs and the white and light-colored statement arrangements made for such an elegant setup in this gorgeous, upscale space.

Guests were seated at long tables at the reception, which were decorated with small arrangements and taper candles. The wooden chargers and gold details on the flatware and glassware, all on muted sage green linens, rounded out the elegant-garden look. The sweetheart table was the centerpiece of the reception — voluminous, lush ground arrangements lined the front perimeter and small compote arrangements decorated the table top, along with pillar candles.

The bridal party truly embodied “garden elegance” in sage green gowns and light, bright bouquets of ivory and soft pinks, with just a touch of greenery. The bride’s bouquet tied in with her ivory dress with subtle touches of pink, and lots of statement blooms like Roses, Ranunculus and Lisianthus.

Ally + Blake's Vibrant, Luxurious Pink-Scale Wedding

Ally and Blake’s Springtime wedding at the Hillside Estate was full of lavish pink moments from ceremony to send-off. Hardly any corner of the venue was left un-flowered — we loved decking out this space in collaboration with Alessandra of Details Darling Planning to bring this bride’s vision of tasteful girliness and elegance to life!

Starting with the entrance, the venue’s symmetrical staircases were decked out with lush greenery vines and pink flowers trailing up around the banisters. Pillar candles played into the romantic feel and a tall arrangement on the entry table added even more vibrance and elegance — and featured so many different statement blooms!

The ceremony was anchored by an extra-lush floral-lined aisle. Pink and white blooms, pillar candles and more interwoven greenery gave a colorful and garden-inspired look — all leading up to an understated flower-embellished white cross at the altar. This ceremony space has stunning natural light and gorgeous vaulted ceilings and chandeliers, and was perfectly complemented by the flowers in all shades of pink!

For the reception, we designed compote arrangements, some bolder tall arrangements and unique floral-accented candelabras as centerpieces for several guest tables. The cake table featured another statement — a flower halo full of more pink blooms to complement this beautiful white cake with intricate floral details.

Ally’s bridal bouquet was heavy on white and ivory statement blooms that tied in with her gown, and featured a few statement fuschia accents. Her bridal party wore bold pink gowns, so we designed bouquets in complementary shades of pink with touches of white to tie in with the bride’s ivory gown!

Olivia + Payton's Bridgerton-Inspired Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Olivia and Payton’s Bridgerton-inspired wedding, brought to life with the help of Gathered Events, was such a stunning embodiment of regal and elegant yet playful and bold style. Held at the Hillside Estate, this wedding featured a few key floral statements that transformed the venue’s window-filled ceremony space and clean-lined ballroom, including a lush organic arch, simple compote arrangements and a statement for the outdoor cocktail hour. With thoughtfully curated design elements all throughout, this event 

A garden-inspired statement arch stood at the altar during the ceremony and featured bright blooms tucked into lots of lush greenery. It was later moved to the reception and just as big of an impact in this smaller space, behind the sweetheart table to frame the newlyweds!

Before guests made it to the reception, they enjoyed cocktail hour in the venue’s gorgeous outdoor space. The seating chart was stationed here, next to an outdoor fireplace that we embellished with a floral installation on the mantle. This, along with pillar candles in the hearth itself, created the perfect cohesive moment as guests looked for their table assignments.

In the Hillside Estate’s stunning tile-floored ballroom, guest tables lined the dance floor, decorated with compote arrangements that sat on flower-embroidered tablecloths layered over blue linens. A smattering of candles, gold chairs and delicate blue, gold and clear-glass place settings combined to create the most elegant, Bridgerton-esque tablescapes.

The bridal party carried long-stem bouquets — featuring mostly white roses, with pops of color to play off of the blue gowns. Olivia’s bridal look was complete with a simple white long-stem bouquet, a simple white gown with mesh sleeves, and, of course, a crown.

So much rich design influence can come from any inspiration source, and we love how the details came together to create such an impactful experience for Olivia, Payton and their guests!
