Joey + Claire's Modern Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Weddings that take on a classy black-and-white color scheme can be made as refined and simple or as dramatic and moody as the couple prefers. Joey and Claire’s wedding at Knotting Hill Place (the perfect backdrop for black and white blooms and decor) found that balance between done-up drama and clean, modern elements. We had the joy of coordinating their day from the kick-off in the bridal suite to the send-off at the end of the night — working with these two was so wonderful!

For the indoor ceremony, we designed two large, lush altar arrangements — voluminous with white blooms and atop glass stands. These made for a great statement while still being simple and effortless. The reception was filled with similar arrangements on tall black stands, clusters of flowers and candles decorating the guest tables. The staircase got decked out with vines of greenery to tie in with the touches of greenery throughout the tablescapes.

For couples like Joey and Claire who want things to run smoothly on their big day but don’t want to have to chase anyone down or worry about all the details falling into place (completely understandably so!), our team’s day-of coordination can be the perfect solution. We’re our couple’s biggest advocate when it comes to being fully present in living out the day they’ve thought about, planned and waited for for so long!

Part of helping that plan run smoothly is helping rally and corral all of your guests for a few staple moments, including the cake cutting and your grand exit as newlyweds! These moments round out the event and provide some of the ultimate photo opportunities. Joey and Claire opted for a streamer exit and the photos turned out so stunning!

Of course, the bridal bouquet is a quintessential element that ends up in the majority of your wedding photos and completes your bridal ensemble. For Claire, we designed a classic-yet-playful all-white bouquet with Roses, Ranunculus, Tweedia and sparing greenery.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: White Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Vendela Roses, White Majolica Spray Roses, White Scabiosa, White Ranunculus, White Tweedia, White Larkspur, Nagi Greenery, Huckleberry Greenery

Kendall + Tanner's Vibrant Autumn-Inspired Wedding

A venue with high ceilings, white walls and clean lines like Chandelier Farms gives us near-endless possibilities — Kendall and Tanner’s wedding was a Fall take on vibrant red tones that was so gorgeous in this space! In collaboration with Saunter Weddings, we brought in lots of subtle Autumnal touches that made for an upscale yet warm and welcoming reception that followed an open-air ceremony on the venue’s beautiful grounds!

We designed several large arrangements for the ceremony that created a lush bed of blooms surrounding the altar. These featured bright red leaves and softer shades like ivory and blush, and lots of texture in flowers and leaves.

The reception was held in the venue’s vault-ceilinged barn with chandeliers hanging from every corner, which perfectly complemented the six large arrangements among the guest tables that anchored the space. These sat on white stands instead of on the tables themselves, which helped them make even more of a statement. The stone urns ended up looking great with the wooden doors and chairs — overall, the event definitely had a very organic, bordering-on-rustic feel.

Another staple for the reception was an installation of red Falltime foliage that draped over the mantle of the venue’s faux-fireplace, which served as the backdrop for the cake, decorated with blooms in matching bright Autumn tones.

Kendall’s bridal party wore pink-berry-colored dresses in all different cuts, and we designed big-bloom-filled bouquets with shades of pink, taupe and ivory to match. These featured a few statement flowers like roses, and were rounded out with Limonium and other seasonal touches. Kendall carried a bouquet that matched her bridesmaids’ but had some extra volume. We see this kind of neutrals-and-mauve color palette as timeless and perfect year-round, but especially fitting for Fall!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Wabara Myabi Roses, Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, Bistro Rose, Quicksand Roses, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Dark Pink Astilbe, Pink Limonium, Mauve Hellebore, Huckleberry

Ellie + Kevin's Elegant, Rustic Hill Country Ranch Wedding

Ellie and Kevin held their wedding at Quail Crossing Ranch (owned by their family!) in Hondo, Texas, and Shannon Rose Events led the charge to bring together this romantic and upscale yet warm and inviting ranch wedding with all of the right touches to capture these families’ traditions and personalities. We curated a mix of neutral, mauve and black blooms for floral statements throughout the ceremony and reception.

The ceremony was held outside in what ended up being perfect weather with a clear sky. To compliment the landscape, we designed a fully flowered aisle that led to a statement of a floral arch at the altar. All embodied a very organic and lush feel and featured those gorgeous Autumnal tones and lots of texture.

The reception, held in the barn on the property, continued to mix the ranch’s rustic feel with elegant, refined touches — custom-engraved shot glasses made up the seating chart as an unmatched experience at the event and take-home for guests. The floral statements in this space included a ceiling installation and an overgrown bar installation full of vibrance and texture from top to bottom.

The guest tables were decorated with arrangements in black-footed vases, which were styled with a mix of pillar and votive candles. With the low, greenery-lined ceiling, wooden chairs and brown linens, the space put off a lot of warmth yet felt so elevated and luxe with the other table decor.

Ellie and her bridal party made one of the ultimate statements of the day in black gowns and with mauve-and-black bouquets in hand — feminine, modern and romantic with a touch of drama.

Not every wedding embodies a family’s history and personality the way this one did — getting to reveal the final product of the elegant-yet-rustic vision to this couple and their loved ones was so rewarding!

Kelly + Michael's Elegant Fall Wedding at the Texas Discovery Gardens

Kelly and Michael’s wedding was a case of an absolute perfect match between venue and design vision — these two requested a modern fall style featuring lots of bleached and dried blooms and leaves, and chose the Texas Discovery Gardens to wed and celebrate at. Full of lighter neutral tones and touches of toffee and orange shades, this was such a vision of delicate Autumnal energy!

For this couple’s ceremony, we designed an asymmetrical arch that took on that modern style and featured lots of texture in those neutral ivory shades with a few pops of color. To line the aisle, we designed clusters of blooms and candles to add the garden feel, especially since the ceremony was held outside. This whole setup managed to come across as light and bright while also Falltime-appropriate.

The reception was also held outside and had even more of that intimate immersive garden feel, with a stunning mirror seating chart and delicate flowers everywhere! Butterflies were a motif throughout the reception, and appeared as a special detail on the cake and in other decor, as well as in the bride’s accessories! Given the venue, this was such a fitting choice, and the guests actually got to explore the Discovery Gardens’ butterfly exhibit during cocktail hour.

The guest tables either had a collection of bud vases and candles, or low compote arrangements. All of the floral elements included that stunning toffee color, more soft neutrals and touches of greenery.

The bridesmaids continued the neutral palette with their champagne-tone dresses for such an elegant bridal party vision! They carried bouquets that combined lush blooms and dried leaves and flowers for such a unique textural moment. Kelly’s bouquet featured stunning toffee roses and other statement blooms in shades of ivory for a stunning, sophisticated bridal look.

Monique + Will's Moody Autumnal Wedding at The Emerson Venue

Monique and Will’s wedding at The Emerson was a perfect mix of quintessential moody fall tones and organic and modern textures. We were thrilled to deliver on the bride’s request for a stylish and sleek feel with this moody Autumnal palette. This event managed to blend the moodiness with light and bright touches, both in terms of color and shape/texture. We loved putting together this collection of tablescape flowers, greenery installs, floral arch and other statement arrangements.

Lush greenery laced the chapel’s windows for a simple yet impactful accent. Especially from the guests’ vantage point, this addition added so much to the understated stage area. Altar arrangements at the start of the aisle were the statement pieces of the ceremony and featured fall-toned blooms and lots of greenery that tied in with the window installs.

In the Emerson’s reception space, we embellished with bud vases and floral frog arrangements, with a mix of taper candles on the guest tables. These created the perfect eclectic feel, and without linens, these were the main source of color and impact. For the sweetheart table, we designed an organic-style arch to frame the couple. This lush piece was the focal point of the room, with extra volume at the bottom through large blooms and tapered greenery at the tops.

Unique from the rest of the flowers, Monique’s bouquet was understated in color palette and featured dainty blooms like Sweet Pea and Tweedia, all in whites and ivories for the ultimate bridal elegance.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Majolica Spray Roses, white Sweet Pea, white Astilbe, white Tweedia, green Hellebore
