Elle + Davis's Intimate Cocktail Reception at the Place at Tyler

Elle and Davis held an intimate celebration of their marriage at the Place at Tyler, and we were so thrilled to put the floral touches on this stunning refined yet relaxed reception. The venue’s architecture, furnishings and existing plants were a great basis for some simple floral design that elevated the space for this couple’s closest family and friends.

For this modern-bohemian reception, we designed several arrangements to decorate the tables, small bud vase arrangements and added greenery to the chandeliers to mimic the room’s hanging plants. The space was full of blush and soft orange tones with deep green as a statement color in the furniture and wainscoting. The flowers played off of this palette and added in the element of texture that gave everything a playful yet sophisticated feel.

Another key element of the bohemian-inspired design was Pampas grass that we designed into ground arrangements to accent the bar area. These looked gorgeous with the deep green bar — a simple addition with a big impact!

We went for contrast in the bridal party’s bouquets between the bridesmaids’ modern style with bleached Fern leaves and Lunaria, and Elle’s understated bouquet full of cream, peach and toffee-colored blooms. The oranges and neutrals that the bridal party wore couldn’t have been more on-point for the classy autumnal feel of the whole event.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients:  Toffee Roses, Cafe Au Lait Dahlia, Ohara Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Peach Ranunculus, Peach Yarrow, Bleached Italian Ruscus, Bleached Bunny Tails, Lunaria, Bleached Ferns

Mary + Zachary's Elegant and Textural Wedding at The Mason

Upscale and elegant meets laidback and relaxed — a difficult vibe to achieve that fit Mary and Zachary so well! Shannon of Shannon Rose Events helped curate such a thoughtfully designed ceremony and reception full of nods to this couple’s history and with lots of room for special floral touches, which we ran with and embellished with a mantle installation, compote and ikebana arrangements, a seating chart installation and others.

With a palette of taupe, blush and ivory, the flowers brought in lots of brightness as paired with the darker elements like black guest tables and blue linens. The guest tables were filled with lots of texture, in the compote arrangements we designed and in elements like the unique black chargers and flatware at the place settings. Candlelight was the finishing touch, as always!

The floral star of the show was the arrangements installed on the fireplace and mantle at The Mason. We designed ground arrangements to sit at the bottom and installed flowers asymmetrically that climbed up the sides of the fireplace. With the white wall and mantle and the pillars on either side, this looked so stunning as a focal point.

Our other favorite touches were the cake and the mini install we built to surround it and the ground arrangement that grew up around the seating chart that sat on a music stand as a nod to how the couple met in high school.

Mary’s bouquet was full of the same crisp colors and was the perfect match with her A-line gown. Her bridesmaids continued the blue thread with their dresses in mismatched cuts and patterns. This wedding was a great example of a color palette adding so much sophistication to the experience, also made so special with personal touches.

Rachel + Derek's Timeless and Edgy October Wedding

Any time our team gets to take on both coordination and floral design for a wedding, we have the best time seeing the whole vision come together. And as we’ve shared before, we don’t think you can go wrong with a black and white color scheme, especially at a venue like Knotting Hill Place that ties right in with that classic and elegant feel. Rachel and Derek’s October wedding was a display of fresh bright white blooms and greenery, with a hint of moodiness in some black details.

The ceremony was kept simple and bright with vines of greenery on the floor down the aisle and two large organic-style arrangements that sat on black urns at the altar. The pop of black definitely made a statement against all the lightness in the room — including sheer curtains and clear acrylic chairs for the guest seating.

The reception had lots of flowers and greenery throughout, and featured more black touches that matched the transition from the ceremony to reception. The guest tables had a mix of tall, lush arrangements on black stands, and simple greenery-and-candle centerpieces. Tall arrangements are always a great fit for this space since they add so much height and can easily be statement pieces!

We always take advantage of the grand staircase in this room, and went extra-lush with for this couple! Lots of greenery embellished the banisters and we added some ground arrangements with more white blooms. The perfect photo op as the couple and their wedding party enter!

Rachel’s bouquet had the same organic style while still embodying the elegant feel of the whole event and her look, which centered around a stunning simple strapless white gown. Her bridesmaids helped round out the black and white palette with black gowns and similar white bouquets with fresh touches of greenery.

Ceili + Greg's Eclectic and Colorful Autumn Wedding

Ceili and Greg’s Fall-time wedding at The Dallas Oasis had a unique, eclectic design concept that we played into with both soft and bold-colored blooms, bringing lots of life to this understated and elegant venue. This ceremony and reception ended up with a fun mix of floral elements, too — arches above the guest tables, lush table garlands, simple compote arrangements, a seating chart installation and others — a mix like this makes for such a fun and dynamic event!

Starting at the ceremony, we designed an angular archway for the altar and extended it with ground arrangements down the steps toward the aisle. This was such a neat statement that brought in a lush feel and lots of color — yellows, oranges and reds along with greenery. The Fall-time color palette and vibe was achieved here in a major way!

Opening the reception, a seating chart installation that “grew” upward from the ground made a statement for guests and created that whimsical and garden-inspired feel, and decorated an elegant display of table assignments featuring champagne glasses. An archway of greenery over the head table made the whole vibe more immersive, and took all of the lush blooms down the table to the next level. The other guest tables were decorated with small arrangements in footed compote holders and classic glass votive holders. Elegant yet playful touches were the hallmark for this reception!

Such gorgeous photos were captured of Ceili’s bridal party in their array of colorful gowns. The bouquets featured fall-inspired orange, red and gold shades that are all fairly subtle on their own but make a bold statement in combination. Ceili’s bouquet had extra pops of orange and more nods to Autumn in some red leaves. This wedding was a great take on a seasonal palette that came across so vibrant and full of personality while still sophisticated and upscale-feeling. The newlyweds and their bridal party wore it all so well!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: blush Tree Peony, blush Dahlia, Charmont Rose, Quicksand Roses,  peach Ranunculus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, red Butterfly Ranunculus, Dried Bougainvillea, Autumn Foliage, brown Copper Beech, orange Parrot Tulips, Ninebark

Peggy + Kyle's Classic Falltime Country Club Wedding

No matter the season, country club weddings are a go-to choice for a classy, perfectly kept and put-together venue, with the pristine grounds and landscaping that they’re known for making outdoor photos easy. Peggy and Kyle wed at the gorgeous Gleneagles Country Club in DFW and designed their whole wedding with a similar classic and timeless feel. It featured a soft palette of white and blues, and can definitely be described as “lush,” given the big blooms and greenery in all of the floral elements.

The ceremony was held indoors, and our team designed an installation built on a gold circular arch that sat behind the couple at the altar, and had two floral pieces placed asymmetrically, featuring lots of bright white blooms and trailing greenery. The aisle was densely lined with ground arrangements, with touches of blue in Delphinium and Eucalyptus. Peggy made the ultimate bridal entrance down this aisle surrounded by these lush garden-style arrangements that all blended together to create the effect of beds of flowers on either side.

We love helping create subtle special touches with flowers, and the cake flowers for this couple is a great example — just a sparing touch of baby’s breath carried that pop of blue and added a modern and textural touch to this gorgeous cake by Butterfly Cakery. In the same way, the groom and groomsmen sported simple white boutonnieres to compliment their classic black tuxedos. Even these had a lush touch through some

The bridal party made a statement with dresses in a gorgeous dusty blue shade, and carried manicured-style white bouquets that offered the perfect soft contrast. This group looked so stunning — and photographed beautifully among all of the venue grounds’ landscaping and scenery. Peggy’s bridal bouquet was fairly simple but still made a statement as a refined and classic finishing touch for her elegant dress!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Vendela Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Tweedia, white Sweet Pea, Huckleberry, Gunni Eucalyptus
