Kelsey + Garrett's Vivid Spring Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Kelsey and Garrett had a vivid, colorful March wedding at The Hillside Estate that featured an extra stunning tented cocktail hour space, designed by our friends at Gathered Events, who brought our statement floral installations together with lots of layered textures and unique details.

The ceremony was in the venue’s indoor chapel, and we designed a custom three-tier squared arch covered in flowers - a continuation of the high-impact color and texture that was created with the ground arrangements that lined the aisle. The bright space and white seating was the perfect backdrop for this color palette.

Cocktail hour was outdoors, tented, in the courtyard, and we accented the entry table with an urn display - a mix of organic-style arrangements that created a disconnected archway for the entrance. Greenery strung through the ceiling of the entrance made this even more immersive and garden-feeling! Inside the tent, floral touches were all around - ground arrangements flanking the seating chart and large arrangements that sat on the bartop.

After cocktail hour, guests transitioned to the reception space, where oversized lamps, along with a few key statement floral moments, helped anchor the space.The head table was situated in the center of the room in front of the dance floor, and had tall arrangements lining its center. Right across the dance floor, the stage facade was decked out with similar oversized arrangements.

For the banquette tables around the room, we designed “meadows” of arrangements that were styled with candles, and all other guest tables had centerpieces of low compote arrangements, bud vases and candles. A mix of brown and white wooden chairs made this space feel whimsical and eclectic, along with other details like floral linens and mini lamps down the longer tables.

Kelsey’s bouquet featured all the striking colors from throughout the day and was full of texture - Roses, Ranunculus, Tweedia, Lilac and Sweet Pea - and her bridesmaids all wore a different color which made for the most stunning photos!
