Angela + Zachary's Elegant Garden-Inspired Wedding

Angela and Zachary held their wedding at The Hillside Estate, with the help of Gathered Events - the perfect venue and team for a Springtime alfresco reception! They gravitated towards a soft, neutral palette - white, blush and a dusty mauve - and lots of texture for visual interest.

For the ceremony, we designed organic-style ground arrangements that sat in between clusters of candles down the aisle, and an ultra-textural arch for the altar. The arch was made up of lush greenery, concentrated at the base on either side, with clusters of color-blocked flowers throughout it. More pillar candles on the ground were accents!

Cocktail hour was held on the patio, so we added a couple floral touches to transition from the ceremony - a mantle arrangement, which the bar was positioned in front of, and two pops of flowers for the bar top itself. The reception was also held outdoors, with guest tables beneath four cabanas - two on either side of the head table - all situated in front of the stage and a pink-and-white checkered dance floor.

The head table held a lush floral garland down its center, and compote arrangements in footed wood vases and bud vases lined the remaining guest tables. A mix of candles also helped make this feel organic, layered and romantic. Angela and Zachary had a sweetheart table opposite the stage, and we designed two urn arrangements on either side of the couple, a dramatic floral meadow right on the table top and at the base of the table. Linens and other accents highlighted a soft sage green.

Bridesmaids also wore green, and bouquets were kept light and bright in the ivory and blush shades - roses, Ranunculus, Sweet Pea - with subtle touches of huckleberry.

Casey + Carson's Springtime Wedding at the Arboretum

Bride and groom Casey and Carson got married at the landmark Dallas Arboretum – a springtime wedding of bright-colored flowers and decor, paired with winter weather – possible even in April for north Texas!

The ceremony was held in the Women’s Garden area, where we designed a display of arrangements at the altar that sat at different levels – either on the ground or on pedestals of varying heights. These were the perfect accent to the architecture – a few shallow steps led to a stone platform flanked by angle walls. Ground arrangements lined the aisle and a pair of urn arrangements marked the start at the back row of seating.

The reception was also outdoors – tented – with custom archways marking the entrance, which we accented with flowers. More large arrangements were paired with the stage facade, and we installed flowers that stretched across and spilled down the corners of the banquette tables, with lamps styled in between for an intimate, whimsical touch.

For the guest tables, green-footed vases held floral centerpiece arrangements. The mix of peach, yellow, lavender, and greens along with ivory made for a subtle yet playful take on a springtime palette. We added a floral halo on the ground to encircle the cake table for another focal point. Blue and peach linens and decor perfectly rounded out the reception space.

Casey’s bridal bouquet was manicured but organic, heavy on ivory blooms with pops of peach, yellow and blue tones.

Judy + Baron's Whimsical Spring Wedding

Our bride Judy kept coming back to the word “whimsical” for her spring wedding at The Hillside Estate - we worked with Blissful Weddings and Events to bring together a mix of lush, airy flowers and classic, elegant decor in shades of white, ivory and soft blue.

For the ceremony in the Hillside’s chapel, we designed a lush floral arch of white and blue blooms, with light touches of greenery - this was the focal point, but we also placed compote arrangements down the aisle. Instead of true ground arrangements, having these in etched glass vases made the aisle design feel more refined and elevated, almost creating a runner effect on each side.

The arch was also featured in the reception space! This was the perfect backdrop for the sweetheart table - Judy and Baron were framed by these flowers both at the altar and throughout the reception. Their table also had a curved floral runner at its front. Guest tables were uniform with more compote arrangements for centerpieces. Blue glassware and linens brought subtle pops of color to these tables, which we tied into the flowers with dainty blue blooms.

The cake table, seating chart and bar had other floral touches - for the cake, we added a halo of white and blue flowers. Ground arrangements framed the “Vogue” display, which was covered in delicate blue butterflies with names and seats listed on them.

The bouquets were designed to feel especially light and airy - all-white blooms with lots of movement. Judy’s gown had a flower-petaled bodice and her bridesmaids wore light blue dresses, so they looked like the perfect depiction of her whimsical vision for the day!

Kelsey + Garrett's Vivid Spring Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Kelsey and Garrett had a vivid, colorful March wedding at The Hillside Estate that featured an extra stunning tented cocktail hour space, designed by our friends at Gathered Events, who brought our statement floral installations together with lots of layered textures and unique details.

The ceremony was in the venue’s indoor chapel, and we designed a custom three-tier squared arch covered in flowers - a continuation of the high-impact color and texture that was created with the ground arrangements that lined the aisle. The bright space and white seating was the perfect backdrop for this color palette.

Cocktail hour was outdoors, tented, in the courtyard, and we accented the entry table with an urn display - a mix of organic-style arrangements that created a disconnected archway for the entrance. Greenery strung through the ceiling of the entrance made this even more immersive and garden-feeling! Inside the tent, floral touches were all around - ground arrangements flanking the seating chart and large arrangements that sat on the bartop.

After cocktail hour, guests transitioned to the reception space, where oversized lamps, along with a few key statement floral moments, helped anchor the space.The head table was situated in the center of the room in front of the dance floor, and had tall arrangements lining its center. Right across the dance floor, the stage facade was decked out with similar oversized arrangements.

For the banquette tables around the room, we designed “meadows” of arrangements that were styled with candles, and all other guest tables had centerpieces of low compote arrangements, bud vases and candles. A mix of brown and white wooden chairs made this space feel whimsical and eclectic, along with other details like floral linens and mini lamps down the longer tables.

Kelsey’s bouquet featured all the striking colors from throughout the day and was full of texture - Roses, Ranunculus, Tweedia, Lilac and Sweet Pea - and her bridesmaids all wore a different color which made for the most stunning photos!

Ashton + OB's "Something Blue" Wedding at Stonebriar Country Club

Ashton and OB had a Fall wedding in Dallas, designed by our team and Jennifer at Turn the Paige Events - we brought together classic, elegant design elements with pops of blue, focused on romantic blooms. The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Catholic and the party started at Stonebriar Country Club - a modern, intimate reception space and the perfect backdrop for the group to celebrate the newlyweds!

For the ceremony, we designed two classic-style urn arrangements to sit on either side of the altar, bringing in some of the soft, romantic flowers the guests would later see at the reception. The church’s chapel was a gorgeous backdrop on its own, so these arrangements were a great accent!

In the country club’s space, a long head table anchored the room with round guest tables around the rest of the room. We designed four tall arrangements to line the head table and make that the focal point, and a lush candle runner sat below the arrangements to make this romantic and intimate. 

Guest tables had low, lush compote arrangements at their center with floating candles surrounding them - more romantic candlelight! These centerpieces were focused on Hydrangea and had dainty blooms and baby’s breath tucked in to round them out. We also accented the cake with a cascade of flowers and baby’s breath across the front for another floral touch.

The bouquets were designed in a manicured style, with all-white blooms - garden and spray roses, Sweet Pea, and pops of greenery for some dimension. The bridesmaids were the perfect “something blue!”
