Savannah + Caleb's Blue-and-White Spring Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms

Savannah and Caleb’s wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms was full of blue and white Hydrangea-centered designs that we loved collaborating with Gathered Events on! An outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor reception with coastal, natural touches was perfect for this Springtime wedding.

For the ceremony, we accented the venue’s altar structure with clustered blooms and greenery, and designed baskets of single-stem arrangements at the start of the aisle - a simple, sweet way to incorporate lots of flowers and incorporate pops of blue.

The reception featured more Hydrangea, with a statement floral runner on the head table that also had pops of other blooms to make it textural and lush. Guest tables were decorated with bud vases for more blue and white flowers that tied in with blue taper candles. Tree-inspired tall arrangements were the main statement of this indoor space and accented either end of the room. The seating chart display sat outside at the entrance to the reception and we added ground arrangements and floral clusters to accent the blue-and-white patterned signs.

The bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets were designed in an organic style with mostly white blooms and just a few pops of blue, the perfect look for the bridal party’s mismatched gowns!

Bridal bouquet Ingredients: white Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, white Tulips, white Ranunculus, blue Tweedia, blue Delphinium, white Sweet Pea, white Lisianthus, white Majolica Spray Rose

Romantic June Styled Shoot at The Hillside Estate

The perfect summertime wedding site, The Hillside Estate was the backdrop for an event hosted by Hailey Marie Photography and Foxbelle Fine Art - an afternoon focused on networking and education for event photographers! Inspired by the work of Monet, the flowers and decor were soft and feminine in a palette of champagne, blush, and lavender with touches of blue.

In the outdoor ceremony space, we designed a floral meadow installation that grew up the altar as a backdrop for the couple. Aisle arrangements down the aisle continued the meadow concept. All the flowers were in soft shades of pink, purple and ivory – with a fun mix of texture and some height for added drama. An installation on the grand piano was another floral moment at the ceremony site - an added visual wow factor for a live musician!

The reception was also held outdoors on the venue’s patio, centered around a long rectangular table. A mix of organic-style compote arrangements and candles ran down the middle and round tables around the perimeter were decorated with similar centerpiece arrangements. The seating chart was another floral feature - planter boxes mounted on a baby blue backdrop held wooden signs with table numbers and names among the flowers.

The bridal bouquet was designed in the same soft, textural, romantic style with Rose varieties, Ranunculus, Tulips and delicate Tweedia for a pop of blue.

Bridal Bouquet: Amnesia Roses, Cappuccinos Roses, Lavender Clematis, Blush Ranunculus, Blue Tweedia, Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Blush Tulips, Orlaya

Michelle + Nathan's Fresh, White-Bloom Summer Wedding

Michelle and Nathan got married in June, and chose The Hillside Estate as the backdrop to their monochromatic, white-blooms-and-greenery ceremony and outdoor reception. We worked with Gathered Events to curate a fresh, dewy and bright garden-inspired design, with a focus on single-flower arrangements and delicate decor touches throughout the evening.

In the ceremony space, the aisle was lined with ground arrangements of greenery and tall Delphinium blooms. These brought in the perfect fresh-feeling texture and height leading up to the altar, where an asymmetrical all-Hydrangea design sat at the base of a white wooden cross for a subtle floral accent.

The reception had a romantic setup out on the venue’s patio beneath greenery-accented cafelights - long rectangular guests tables were lined with organic-style floral runners with lots of texture and dainty blooms tucked into them. White pillar candles and bud vases filled the spaces in between. The sweetheart table, fireplace mantle, cake table and pillars across the space were also accented with ground arrangements that added a final lush touch!

Michelle’s bridal bouquet was 100% Peonies designed in a round pave style, complimented by her bridesmaids’ baby’s breath bouquets. With black bridesmaids gowns, these bouquets were the perfect classic combination!

Carmen + Hugh's Playful Spring Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Carmen and Hugh’s May wedding featured a unique palette that spanned warm to cool with peaches and purples, plus lots of floral textures and greenery to deck out both indoor and outdoor spaces. As always, the team at Keestone Events brought so much to the design that came to life at The Hillside Estate!

For the ceremony, we designed four organic-style tall arrangements that were placed to frame the couple, and lush ground arrangements lined the aisle with pops of purple and orange. These had enough volume and height to make them the perfect introduction to the statement design at the altar.

Out on the venue’s patio, cocktail hour followed, and we added greenery vines to the string lights and a large urn arrangement to the circle bar in the center of the space. Another arrangement accented the outdoor fireplace for the perfect backdrop.

Back inside for the reception, the space centered around the rectangular head table in the middle, which held tall arrangements and bridesmaid bouquets, along with smaller bud vases and lots of candlelight. Rectangular guest tables were designed around small floral-and-greenery garlands and candles, and round tables’ centerpieces were low, lush compote arrangements. A mix of muted-orange-patterned and solid lavender linens tied in with the pops of color in the arrangements.

The bouquets were organic-style with a spectrum of peach, orange, pink, lavender, and deeper purple. These were such a unique mix of shades and textures, perfect for this May wedding, and popped even more with the bridesmaids’ muted peach gowns.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Juliet Garden Roses, Shimmer Roses, Sweet Eskimo Roses, Hues of Apricot Lisianthus, Orange Ranunculus, Peach Ranunculus, Chamomile, Orange Astrantia, Lavender Sweet Pea, Lavender Clematis, Purple Larkspur

Katie + Michael's Pastel Wedding and Patio Reception

Katie and Michael’s wedding at The Hillside Estate was a summertime blend of vibrant pinks and yellow with pastel shades of blue and peach for an elegant indoor ceremony and outdoor reception.

For the ceremony, we designed a full aisle’s worth of ground arrangements that led up to a semicircle of blooms to frame the couple at the altar. All of these arrangements were designed with extra height for a little drama, along with dainty textures in subtle shades of blue and blush.

For an entryway to the reception on the back patio, two columns were accented with branches and pops of flowers for a glowing archway that framed the space perfectly. Lights and greenery were strung overhead, along with floral clusters hanging over the guest tables. The head table held a lush floral garland as its centerpiece, and the tables that flanked it were decorated with bud vases and blue taper candles that added some playfulness.

We installed an arrangement of lush flowers and greenery that organically trailed across and down one side of the outdoor fireplace - the perfect backdrop for dinner and the cake cutting. A walkway framed by the day’s most vibrant blooms - bright pinks, oranges and blues - led to the matching checkered dance floor!

The bridal party’s bouquets were built around two of Katie’s favorites: Lilly of the Valley and Gardenia, used in garden-style designs along with other springtime blooms and lots of texture. These were the perfect pop of warmth against the bridesmaids’ cooler-toned blue and green gowns.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Peonies, Quicksand Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley, blush Butterfly Ranunculus, peach Ranunculus, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Sweet Pea, peach Stock, white Asclepias, Spirea
