Katie + Michael's Pastel Wedding and Patio Reception

Katie and Michael’s wedding at The Hillside Estate was a summertime blend of vibrant pinks and yellow with pastel shades of blue and peach for an elegant indoor ceremony and outdoor reception.

For the ceremony, we designed a full aisle’s worth of ground arrangements that led up to a semicircle of blooms to frame the couple at the altar. All of these arrangements were designed with extra height for a little drama, along with dainty textures in subtle shades of blue and blush.

For an entryway to the reception on the back patio, two columns were accented with branches and pops of flowers for a glowing archway that framed the space perfectly. Lights and greenery were strung overhead, along with floral clusters hanging over the guest tables. The head table held a lush floral garland as its centerpiece, and the tables that flanked it were decorated with bud vases and blue taper candles that added some playfulness.

We installed an arrangement of lush flowers and greenery that organically trailed across and down one side of the outdoor fireplace - the perfect backdrop for dinner and the cake cutting. A walkway framed by the day’s most vibrant blooms - bright pinks, oranges and blues - led to the matching checkered dance floor!

The bridal party’s bouquets were built around two of Katie’s favorites: Lilly of the Valley and Gardenia, used in garden-style designs along with other springtime blooms and lots of texture. These were the perfect pop of warmth against the bridesmaids’ cooler-toned blue and green gowns.

Vibrant Summertime Baby Shower at The Hillside Estate

Brittney’s summer baby shower at The Hillside Estate was full of orange, red and shades of blue to welcome their boy! We worked with Gathered Events to deck out the venue’s indoor and outdoor spaces, starting with the entryway where we accented the staircase with ground arrangements, and then an overhead tunnel of flowers and greenery. 

Orange and red flooring and layered seating chart signage made a statement to lead out to the patio. Guests were greeted outside with cocktails and mocktails, and sat at a mix of round and rectangular tables. In the center, the long table was covered with bright blue patterned linens, and decorated with bright orange and red flowers, fruit and candles for lots of texture and contrast. 

Vim + Venture installed draped fabric to create a more intimate-feeling space, and we added clusters of floral textures and foliage that hung with red shades for lots more color and vibrant accents. 

A gift-opening station was set up outside with multicolored signage, more orange arrangements with pops of blue, and a bright red love seat for the mom-to-be!

Maddy + Blake's All-White Modern May Wedding

Our couple Maddy and Blake got married at The Hillside Estate and we worked with the wonderful Gathered Events team to design and execute on the perfect ivory-and-green May wedding that felt so fresh and classic and really prioritized the guest experience with unique touches like a champagne seating chart and an outdoor dance party at the end of the reception.

A garden-style disconnected floral arch marked the altar, which we filled with romantic blooms like Hyndragea, Roses and Delphinium. The aisle was lined with ground arrangements to tie in perfectly with the arch. Cocktail hour followed and the venue’s courtyard space made the perfect backdrop - we added greenery to the string lights and designed an installation for the mantle of the outdoor fireplace for the garden accents, along with pops of flowers to accent the bar signs.

The reception was held partially inside, where we repurposed the ceremony arch behind the sweetheart table. Guest tables had clean, modern centerpieces and were decorated with dispersed garland pieces with candles styled in between, and white Rose arrangements in glass cases on other tables. A tent was set up so the party could migrate back outside for dancing while staying protected from rain. 

The bridal party’s bouquets were all long-stem white roses, which continued the clean, neutral palette with some added dimension in the bridesmaids’ taupe gowns.

Jenna + Brandon's Bright White Textural Springtime Wedding

Jenna and Brandon got married at The Hillside Estate, and we worked with MK Event Boutique to curate a classic, fresh white-and-greenery floral vision that was accented perfectly with darker moody decor. Baby’s Breath and Roses were the bride’s request and brought the right textures for the Springtime!

For the ceremony, we designed four elevated arrangements on white pedestals and clear vases at staggered heights on either side of a white wooden cross at the altar. Pillar candles encircled each arrangement for some warmth along with the crispness of the white! Under the chandelier, it all tied together for a stunning focal point at the altar.

In the transition from ceremony to reception, the seating chart broke up the bright white palette with black acrylic signs hung on black boards. We brightened the area up with white arrangements on the ground that also added texture with more Baby’s Breath and Delphinium.

The reception had a mix of round and rectangular tables for guests, so we developed a couple centerpiece designs - white roses in bud vases with pillar candles and low, lush compote arrangements. The head table had trailing garland accent pieces on either end - these gave such a full, fresh look and we filled the design out with pillar candles down the center of the table.

The bouquets were full of Baby’s Breath and white roses, with white Orchids as an accent. The bridesmaids’ gowns were another pop of black that paired perfectly with the bright bouquets.

Lexi + Daniel's Spring Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Lexi and Daniel brought some French Rivera inspiration to The Hillside Estate for such a special spring wedding designed with Gathered Events - textures like Baby’s Breath and Queen Anne’s Lace and darker touches in the decor brought the right amount of depth to make it light and airy while still glamorous.

The ceremony was overflowing with flowers - down the aisle, at the altar in an oversized arch, and in arrangements lining the steps. This created a lush, layered look even with an all-neutral color scheme.

Following the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour, stopping by the venue’s entryway again where the seating chart sat with floral accents and candles. We also installed flowers on the staircase to make this area feel just as lush as the ceremony!

For the reception, we anchored the ballroom with four trees in planter boxes along the edges, with white blooms tucked in throughout for a bright pop. The head table held compote arrangements to line the center, with single-bloom arrangements in black and wood vessels in between for an extra full and textural look. A large tree-inspired arrangement was placed on the tete-a-tete in the center of the room, and was surrounded by guest tables with “mini meadows” designed to circle gold lamps as centerpieces.

The night ended with a dance party out on the venue’s patio, where we moved some arrangements from the ceremony that were revamped with silver, black and gold foliage for a fun pop to go along with the mirrored dance floor!

The bridal party’s bouquets were organic-style - the bridesmaids’ were single-stem designs with flowers like Sweet Pea, Roses and Tulips, and Lexi’s bouquet featured the full range which made for such a great effect with the group all together.
