Amber + Tom's Eclectic, Moody Wedding at The Mason Dallas

Our couple Amber and Tom wanted an elegant, eclectic wedding, and chose a venue and color palette to match — we designed high-impact statement arrangements that anchored the ceremony and reception space at The Mason Dallas, and simpler floral touches for the tables that brought in the shades of burgundy, purple, toffee and a pop of black.

At the altar, two large organic-style urn arrangements framed the couple with a mix of colored foliage and blooms, and sat on tables covered with gold linens. With lots of candlelight surrounding these and lining the aisle, the ceremony had the perfect moodiness and glow. For the reception (in the same space), these anchored the room on either side of a fireplace below a large gold mirror, and we added a third urn arrangement sat in the center of the room.

We designed small compote and frog arrangements for the tables at the cocktail-style reception. More mood lighting and darker table linens all helped to accent this gorgeous space.

Amber’s bridal bouquet mixed the light and dark tones we incorporated throughout, with roses, Tulips, black Scabiosa and Ranunculus. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets featured a similar mix and worked with their mis-matched dresses for such a moody yet colorful, eclectic look.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Quicksand Roses, Cappuccino Roses, Brownie Tulips, Purple Hellebore, Black Scabiosa, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Plum Ranunculus, Brown Copper Beech, Cotinus

Vibrant Winter Open House at The Hillside Estate

This bridal open house, hosted with Gathered Events at The Hillside Estate, featured a unique bright and vibrant take on a winter color palette — the venue’s reception hall was set up with a long rectangular table to mimic a head table for a wedding party, and round guest tables around the perimeter. These and a cake table were decked out with flowers in red, taupe and purple tones with pops of blue and yellow.

A red and burgundy checker-patterned dance floor anchored the space, and added a bold statement to an otherwise neutral space — light and bright linens and chairs. Several larger arrangements in stone bowls lined the table — these were designed with a combination of blooms like Lilac, Sweet Pea, Roses, Tulips and others that all created a layered look that varied in style, height and texture.

Place settings that featured lattice-pattern placemats with cutouts and gold-embellished drinkware also added texture and interest. Burgundy candles lined the long table to complete that red statement and add in some romance!

Other tables held centerpieces made up of blush taper candles and bud vase arrangements in a softer palette in contrast to the head table. The cake was a stunning focal point — a stand suspended the top tier of the cake so it floated above the rest — we embellished the arm with a floral cluster to accentuate the effect and create a continuation of the blush and red color palette.

Arrangement Ingredients: Quicksand Roses, cappuccino Roses, Barista Roses, Brownie Tulips, Red Spray Carnations, Red Ranunculus, Purple Lilac, Purple Clematis, White Sweet Pea, Yellow Daffodils, Tuberose

Marisa + Dean's Springtime-Inspired Wedding

Marisa and Dean’s wedding at The Hillside Estate is the perfect vision of a subtle color palette that makes big statements. The style inspiration was organic and garden-style, and we brought in a range of light blues, lavender and neutral tones, along with lots of greenery to create that lush, airy look. We worked with Gathered Events on this winter wedding and love how all the details came together!

As an anchor to the ceremony space, we designed a floral arch for the altar, with blue Hydrangea and lavender Roses as the main staples — along with plenty of greenery vines flowing out. To create extra volume at the base of each side, we added four additional ground arrangements that trailed down the stairs, and matching arrangements were also placed at the front of the aisle with pillar candles.

After the ceremony, this arch framed the couple’s sweetheart table in the reception space, with the ground arrangements in front, making the newlyweds’ corner a gorgeous floral centerpiece of the room. The reception featured so many touches that worked together to create this garden-esque atmosphere — gold details for the place settings, a motif of butterflies throughout the tablescapes, a lattice wall that held the seating assignments (and which we embellished with greenery and flowers on opposite corners), and a stunning flower-iced cake, surrounded by real vines of greenery.

Two rectangular head tables flanked the sweetheart table, and we designed floral runners the length of the tables, with taper and pillar candles mixed in. The other guest tables held bud vases, simple single-bloom arrangements, and tall arrangements on clear stands to add some height.

The bridal party’s bouquets had the same organic style, and we incorporated more color for the bridesmaids’ while keeping Marisa’s bridal bouquet mostly white with subtle pops of light blue and lavender for a sweet, delicate look that stood out.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Peonies, white Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Double Tulips, white Ranunculus, blue Tweedia, lavender Sweet Pea, white Larkspur, white Sweet Pea, white Limonium, Huckleberry

Lexi + Jackson's Elegant Garden-Inspired Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Lexi and Jackson’s wedding took on an organic garden-style elegance, perfectly complemented by the drama and glamor of a venue like Knotting Hill Place. Floral elements in the ceremony and reception centered on romantic flowers in a soft palette of neutrals with touches of pink tones and lush greenery as a staple.

The indoor ceremony opened with ground arrangements lining the aisle and leading into an oversized floral arch at the altar — a continuation of the garden-style mix of Delphinium and lush greenery. This combination made for an elegant statement in KHP’s ceremony space — the tall arch mimicking the tall rounded windows.

The reception ballroom was filled with a mix of round and rectangular guest tables, topped with either centerpiece arrangements in white vases or greenery vines trailing down with taper candles. The head table featured a mix of both, and all the tables had delicate gold details in the place settings for an elegant touch. More flowers in ground arrangements embellished the escort display.

Lexi and her bridesmaids’ bouquets took on a manicured garden style, made up of blooms like Orchids, Roses, Sweet Pea and Ranunculus. Unlike the ceremony and reception flowers, the bouquets were all-white and contrasted with the wedding party’s black gowns and suits.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Phalaenopsis Orchids, Playa Blanca Roses, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Larkspur, Sweet Pea

Becca + Grant's Luxury Texas Destination Wedding

The main event of their destination wedding weekend in West Texas, Becca and Grant’s big day was held on family property — an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. The wedding featured some of the same tones from the rehearsal dinner for a mix of bright and punchy reds in the flowers and soft blues brought in with other decor throughout the reception. We worked with Shannon Rose Events to curate this natural-feeling and elegant ceremony and reception that were truly unique.

We designed a statement floral backdrop at the altar for the ceremony — as opposed to adding onto an arch or arbor, this was all flowers — a semicircle of arrangements at various heights for lots of drama and volume while complimenting the natural landscape. The same style was mimicked at the start of the aisle, where we added collections of arrangement in white pots on either the ground or rectangular pedestals.

The tented reception opened with two floral statements — an archway framing the entrance and a large urn arrangement in the center of the custom bar. Both of these were ultra-textural and bold, featuring red and brown foliage and lots of red, mauve and taupe blooms. Accents like wooden lanterns on either side of the entry archway added more interest and texture

The head table was the site of another oversized installation — a large centerpiece garland stretched across, brimming with textures, flowers, colored foliage and greenery. Pillar and votive candles, wooden chargers and blue linens made all the tabletops elegant and eclectic — other guest tables help arrangements in white vases or floral clusters growing up in the center of the tables.

Becca’s bouquet was organic-feeling and mixed all the tones and textures present in the ceremony and reception designs, featuring the bold red, mauve and brown shades with a pop of ivory. Velvet bridesmaid gowns added to the red statement and texture.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Kiera Garden Roses, Heart Roses, Cappuccino Roses, Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, red Ranunculus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Frill Brownie Tulips, red Nerine, red Foliage
