Sarah + Nathan's Vibrant-Wildflower Texas Wedding

Sarah and Nathan’s wedding at Stone Crest Venue in McKinney was a vision of Texas and wildflowers, designed with Shannon Rose Events and featuring a unique mix of vibrant cool tones in a collection of highly textural floral elements — a floral arch to frame the altar and a staircase installation as a statement in the reception.

For the outdoor ceremony, we designed a lush, overgrown floral arch that looked like it grew up from the ground, where the volume was concentrated and then got less dense toward the center. This was filled not only with a variety of flowers but several other plants and grasses to add to the natural feel. This achieved the statement look while also meshing perfectly with the backdrop of trees and rustic wooden arch and pews.

The reception had several touches that also made for floral immersion — greenery and flowers laced around ceiling beams and a dramatic staircase installation, along with a garland for the head table and accents on the stage and mantle. The space was grounded with deep blue — in the table settings and glassware — and the flowers provided pops of subtle, natural color all over.

The staircase, especially, created a garden-style atmosphere with lush greenery all the way up the banisters and a lush base featuring purple, mauve and yellow pops. The head table garland mimicked this style and, with pillar candles placed in between, created such a magical and intimate moment. The guest tables held a mix of arrangements in white vases and organic candle-and-floral cluster arrangements.

Sarah’s bouquet featured the full range of the color palette — purple, bright blue, red, yellow and blush all mingling with touches of greenery. The bridesmaids wore dresses in varying shades of blue that tied the whole bridal party together with an emphasis on cool tones and brought out the pops of Tweedia in their bouquets.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Amnesia Roses, dark red Sunflowers, pink Scabiosa, pink Spray Roses, yellow Gerbera Daisies, blue Tweedia, pink Veronica, purple Limonium, purple Larkspur, pink Phlox, purple Clematis, Huckleberry Greenery

Sabrina + Chicago's Simplistic Yet Textural Wedding at The Emerson

We worked with Shannon of Shannon Rose Events to design a subdued ivory-and-blue wedding at the Emerson — a gorgeous venue with pretty simplistic architecture and finishings that we devised highly textural floral elements to complement. This couple was a fan of sleek and neutral style, so we worked with Shannon to incorporate subtle touches of color and lean into texture — namely with baby’s breath and Limonium.

For the ceremony, we designed immersive-style arrangements of flowers and grasses to grow up from the ground and placed them at various heights to create a natural feel. For this effect, you don’t always need to heavy up on large, traditional statement flowers like Roses and Peonies — even unassuming petite textures like Limonium, Queen Anne’s Lace and Baby’s Breath can deliver on that “wow” factor!

We transformed the reception space with a wall installation of Baby’s Breath that served the dual purpose of disguising a set of doors and making a statement. Long guest tables were decorated with oblong wooden vases full of interesting flowers to continue the textural focus and mimic terrariums. Organic-style floral frogs and candles, all on top of blue-and-white floral-applique linens, made for a whimsical yet sophisticated garden atmosphere.

The bridal and bridesmaids’ bouquets featured a bit more vibrance with touches of bright yellow and blue, and plenty more texture through touches of Ranunculus, Clematis buds and Bunny Tail.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Patience Garden Roses, white Ball Dahlia, Snowy Jewel Roses, white Cosmos, Clematis buds, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, blue Nigella, white Butterfly Ranunculus, white Majolica Spray Roses, Natural Bunny Tails, Jasmine Vine, Italian Pittosporum

Lindsey + Addison's Classic Ballroom-Style Wedding

We helped design Lindsey and Addison’s late-summer wedding at The Hillside Estate, and it was yet another testament to how versatile this gorgeous venue is — for this couple, it delivered on a romantic and classic ballroom style. We worked with Gathered Events to transform THE’s spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception with statement flowers in shades of ivory and soft pinks, along with plenty of greenery to create a lush, manicured look.

For the ceremony, we designed several arrangements placed at various heights — some on stands and others on the ground — for an elegant dramatic touch, even in this subtle color palette. Two additional tall arrangements at the front of the aisle framed the whole space and created a sense of grandeur at the entrance.

Following the ceremony, guests found their seat assignments on a trio of custom boards by Vim + Venture, which we embellished with greenery and organic-style floral clusters. The outdoor space was also elevated with a seating area featuring the same ivory and blush tones.

Later at the reception, the head table was the focal point of the room, with a lush, textural garland down the center — Hydrangeas, Roses, Lisianthus, Ranunculus and Tulips made this the perfect romantic yet light and bright centerpiece for the wedding party to celebrate. Rectangular guest tables featured tall arrangements spaced down their middle and the surrounding tables held petite arrangements, bud vases and candles. For another statement in the reception space — we designed a floral halo to surround the cake.

Lindsey wanted her bouquet to favor ivory shades, so it featured sparing touches of soft pink, but really made a statement with monochrome O’hara roses, Hydrangea, Ranunculus and other rose varieties. The bridesmaids’ bouquets followed suit — creating such an elegant look with their taupe dresses.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Hydrangea, O’Hara Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Ranunculus

Jaclyn + Jaryd's Vibrant, Elegant Wedding at Davis and Grey Farms

Jaclyn and Jaryd go down in the books as one of the most bright and colorful palettes that made for such a vibrant and playful yet elegant ceremony and reception. We worked with Shannon at Shannon Rose Events to transform Davis and Grey Farms for this day with several key drama-filled floral statements and couldn’t be more in love with how it turned out!

For the ceremony, we designed the ultimate archway at the altar — bright shades of pink, yellow and blues and in an organic style that spilled onto the ground and around the front edges of the chapel, with more ground arrangements extending toward the guest seating. This popped against the white chapel and created the most vibrant and summer-y immersive experience for this couple to tie the knot.

The head table anchored the reception space with a dramatic garland overhead on gold stands, dense with blooms of almost all hues and dripping with greenery. Beneath, compote arrangements created an almost-garland-feeling tablescape. Guest tables held more arrangements and bud vases and we played off the space’s architecture by weaving branches and vines into the beams to take that immersive garden atmosphere to the next level. Details like understated wooden chairs and blue-accented place settings completed the fusion of elegant and upscale with whimsical garden style.

Jaclyn had to carry a bouquet just as showstopping and vibrant — it took on a more focused color palette of pinks and yellows and featured Coral Charm Peonies and Sunflowers. The bridal party wore black gowns and each carried a different color bouquet — bundles of blues, pinks and yellows for a continuation of the lush, bright color palette.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Coral Charm Peonies, Mini Gerbera Daisies, Sunflowers, Catalina Yellow Garden Rose, Yellow Double Tulips, Blue Tweedia, Mini Pittosporum

Erica + Hunter's Luxurious, Rustic Wedding at Hotel Drover

Couple Erica and Hunter designed a stunning garden-style ballroom wedding at a rustic venue — Hotel Drover in Fort Worth — for a luxurious and lush-floral-filled night with their family and friends. The palette was black and white, and statement flowers like Roses and Hydrangeas were staples — along with lots of lush greenery and candlelight in both the ceremony and reception spaces.

We designed a natural-style floral arch at the entryway and full floral lining for the aisle that continued up to and around the altar. These were such statements in the greenhouse ceremony space, especially with lush grass underfoot and a gorgeous wooded area just outside. Candles lining the aisle and greenery strung from the ceiling were two transformative touches that completed the intimate-garden atmosphere.

The ceiling vines were carried into the reception area to add a whimsical touch among stone and wood architecture. We designed elaborate garlands for rectangular guest tables that trailed down to the floor on either end — paired with candelabras for extra drama. These were lush with greenery and dense with roses in shades of white and sparing dainty flowers. Round tables were decorated with a mix of elevated and low compote arrangements.

Other statements in the ballroom included a floral installation flanking the indoor bar and another in the same style trailing down the side of the piano. Making the same flowers and color palette so ubiquitous all throughout the space created such an immersive and cohesive feel, accentuated by candlelight in all forms — pillar candles paired with installs and taper candles on guest tables.

Erica and her bridal party carried long-stem bouquets of white Roses that created a stunning black-and-white classic moment with the bridesmaids’ gowns. This style played into the garden influence while still feeling very refined and elegant.
